Procedures

A Borrow Pit is an excavation area where construction materials such as sand, soil, clay, or gravel are removed for use as fill or construction material at another location.

Borrow Pits may be permitted as a Conditional Use within the Agriculture (AG) and Agriculture Residential (AR) zoning districts, subject to review and approval by the Planning and Zoning Division.

Application Submission Options

Borrow Pit applications may be submitted in person, by mail, or by email.
