Term Life Insurance with Accidental Death & Dismemberment

Coverage Type Details
Basic Life $50,000 Paid by County
Additional Voluntary Life $3.00 per month for every $10,000 of coverage, up to $150,000
Dependent Life $1.76 per month – Includes $10,000 for spouse and $5,000 per child

*Dependent life covers children up to age 20, or up to age 24 if they are full-time students.

Long-Term Disability Insurance

The County also provides optional Long-Term Disability Insurance (LTD) 

  • Provides up to 50% of pre-disability earnings after you’ve been continuously disabled for 180 days and remain continuously disabled 

 *Dependent life covers children up to age 20 or up to age 24 if full-time students.
