Plan Examiners are available Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

All plans for single-family residences, commercial structures, accessory buildings, additions, fences, screen enclosures, pools, and multi-family homes are reviewed for compliance with the Florida Building Code (FBC) 8th Edition, effective December 31, 2023, and applicable zoning requirements.

The Plan Review Division provides technical assistance and code interpretations to architects, engineers, contractors, and property owners while coordinating with other county departments to ensure compliance with life safety requirements and related regulations.
