County Road 220 Improvement Project

Clay County is planning the reconstructing and widening County Road 220 from Baxley Road to west of Henley Road to improve traffic flow, safety, and roadway capacity.

Project Overview

  • Reconstruct and widen CR 220 from Baxley Road to west of Henley Road
  • Improve traffic flow and roadway capacity
  • Support safer travel through the corridor
  • Current budget: $4.7 million
  • Staff continues to monitor the U.S. Army Corps permit application, which is currently under review for future work on CR 220 from Baxley Road to west of Henley Road
  • This project will be phased following construction of the quadrant intersection at Henley Road
