Work is underway on roadway enhancement projects for six existing roads and one extension to the First Coast Expressway in Clay County.

The projects are designed to:

• Improve traffic flow
• Increase public safety
• Add additional travel lanes
• Improve drainage features
• Add sidewalks
• Add bicycle lanes

Growth and development continue throughout Florida. The Clay County Bonded Transportation Program helps the county manage these changes by improving infrastructure and preparing roadways for increased traffic.
