Florida Historical Marker Program

County Sponsored State Historic Marker- The Historic Preservation Board, on behalf of the Board of County Commissioners and County citizens, submits applications to the state of Florida’s Historical Marker Program to commemorate Clay County’s historic sites and events.  To request consideration for a County sponsored Florida State Marker, please complete the application here and submit via email to beth.carson@claycountygov.com.

Citizen Sponsored State Historic Marker-  Any citizen may sponsor and directly apply to the State for a Florida Historical Marker.  For further information please visit the Florida Department of State Historical website.
