Are BCC meetings televised?

Yes. Board of County Commissioners meetings can be viewed on Comcast Channel 260, the Clay County TV and Video Archive page, and the County's Facebook page.

Can I view County Commissioner emails?

Yes. Visit the Clay County Public Email webpage to access the County Commissioners' email folders. Select the appropriate link to view available emails.

Can I place a satellite dish at the curb for garbage pickup?

No. Satellite dishes are considered scrap metal and must be recycled at one of the Environmental Convenience Centers. Visit the Environmental Services Facilities page to find the nearest location.

Can the bus pick me up at a location other than a bus stop?

Yes. Flex service allows passenger pickups, also called route deviations, as time allows within the schedule for locations up to three-quarters of a mile off the Flex Route.

When time allows, a Clay Community Transportation shuttle can pick you up from your location and drop you off at any stop along the Red, Blue, Green, or Magenta Lines. A deviation fee of $1 per pickup, per rider applies.

How can I speak at a Board meeting?

The Board accepts public comment on agenda items. To speak, complete a speaker card available at the entrance to the Board Meeting Room and give it to the Clay County Sheriff's Office deputy on duty. The Chair will call speakers when the Board is ready to receive public comment. A time certain may also be scheduled with approval from the Chair.
