The Clay County Veterans Services Office (VSO) helps veterans and their families access federal, state, and local benefits. Services include assistance with disability compensation, pensions, education benefits, medical expenses, and survivor benefits.

With more than 28,000 veterans in Clay County, the Veterans Services Office serves as a liaison between veterans and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. The Veterans Service Officer works to ensure veterans and their dependents receive the benefits they have earned through military service.
