Lost and Found Livestock

Clay County Animal Services occasionally cares for stray livestock, such as horses, goats, pigs, or other farm animals that have been found within the county.

The listings below show any livestock currently in our care. If no animals appear below, we do not currently have any lost or found livestock at Animal Services.

Important: Livestock brought to Animal Services are held in accordance with applicable laws to allow owners the opportunity to reclaim them. Animals are assigned a temporary identification name by our staff for recordkeeping purposes.

Missing Livestock?

If your livestock is not listed above, it does not necessarily mean it has not been found. New animals may arrive throughout the day.

If you are searching for missing livestock, please contact Clay County Animal Services at (904) 269-6342 to report the animal and provide identifying information, including photographs, brands, ear tags, tattoos, or other markings.
