Suggest a Purchase

We're always looking for ways to improve our collection! If there's a book, audiobook, DVD, or other library material you'd like to see added to the Clay County Library collection, we'd love to hear from you. Patron suggestions help us build a collection that reflects the interests and needs of our community.

Before submitting your request, please review the guidelines below.

Purchase Request Guidelines

• Purchase suggestions are carefully reviewed but cannot be guaranteed. All requests must align with the Library's Collection Development Policy and be available through approved vendors.
• Requested titles should generally be at least one year old and no more than five years old to be considered for purchase.
• If a title is selected, delivery timelines vary depending on vendor availability. The Library cannot guarantee when requested materials will arrive.
• Due to the high volume of requests received, staff are unable to provide status updates on individual submissions.
