The Annual Action Plan is a detailed plan submitted to HUD each year of the grant cycle outlining the specific projects the County will undertake using the CDBG funding for that year.
Why is the plan important?
This plan is developed annually based on the five-year strategic plan, community input, and current County need. This plan drives the projects that will be funded by CDBG during the year.
How much funding will Clay County get this year?
The county expects to receive $1,000,000 for the year 2025–2026.
How will the money be used?
The county plans to use the money in three ways:
$150,000 for planning and administering the program (Administration)
$910,250 for county-wide sidewalk and road improvements (Public Infrastructure)
Who decides how to spend the money?
The County Commissioners decide, with help from the public.
