Public Notice – Fiscal Year 2024-2025 CAPER Availability

The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) is a flexible program providing communities with resources to address a wide range of unique community development needs.

In 2021 Clay County was awarded a five year grant based on a strategic plan, known as the Consolidated Plan Report. Three key areas were identified as the focus for the five-year grant cycle: Affordable Housing Activities, Code Enforcement / Neighborhood Clean-Up Activities, and Infrastructure Improvements.

Each year the Annual Action Plan, a detailed plan outlining the specific projects the County will undertake using CDBG funding, is developed and submitted to HUD for review and approval.
