Charters of Freedom Monument

As our nation commemorates America’s 250th anniversary, Clay County is creating a permanent tribute to the ideals that shaped our country. The Charters of Freedom Monument will feature steel-etched replicas of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights, generously donated by Foundation Forward, Incorporated.

The site will also include a time capsule, preserving today’s stories and memories for tomorrow. This landmark will serve as a place for education, reflection, and civic pride for generations to come.
