Dog Day Out Program
Not everyone is ready to adopt or foster a pet—and that's okay! With our Dog Day Out program, you can still make a difference by giving a shelter dog a fun day away from the shelter.
How It Helps
- Gives dogs a break from the shelter environment.
- Provides exercise, enrichment, and socialization.
- Helps our staff learn more about each dog's personality.
- Creates opportunities to take photos and videos that help dogs get adopted.
- Introduces dogs to potential adopters while they're out in the community.
Whether you take a dog for a walk, a ride in the car, a visit to the park, or simply spend a few hours together, your time can make a lasting impact.
