When an evacuation order is issued anywhere in Florida, Clay County’s Tourism Department will contact registered vacation and short-term rental operators. If Clay County is in the projected path of a storm, we encourage you to communicate with your guests and stay informed through official updates from Clay County Emergency Management.

If Clay County is not directly impacted, the community may serve as a destination for evacuees seeking temporary accommodations. During these events, we appreciate learning about conditions affecting your business, including increases in bookings or reservation cancellations.
