Road and Lane Closures
SR 21 Bridge Replacement.
SR 21 over Black Creek South Fork. Construction of a new bridge on the east side of the existing bridge. North and South traffic will continue on existing bridge during this construction.
Custer Road, Fernview Road, and Rainey Ave.
All 3 roads are bid as one project. Underdrain, and utility work on all 3. Project expected to run for 6 months. Daytime single lane closures should be expected
Thunderbolt Road Park
Contractor is on site for a Parks Dept. project. Construction traffic is to be expected on Thunderbolt Road for approximately 90 days.
Work to begin approximately July 8th. Utility work and intersection paving.
Circle Ridge Drive
Drainage / Utility project. Approximately 120 days to complete. Daytime lane closures.
County drainage and utility project. County work will immediately follow CCUA’s utility adjustment in the County Right of Way. CCUA is on site working now. Daytime single lane closures. Expected start Aug. 16th
Constitution Drive near John Pinn Place
Single lane closure July 16th – 18th – Utility work scheduled.
Oakleaf Plantation Parkway
Oakleaf Plantation Parkway will have a single lane closure on July 15th – July 19th, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for utility work.
Loch Rane Blvd
Loch Rane Blvd will have a single lane closure on July 15th – July 19th, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for utility work.
First Coast Expressway Work
North and Southbound lanes. Daytime lane closures from 8:30 am to 4”30 pm. July 15th through July 19th. Location between Bayard Road and US 17
Southbound lane closure. Daytime from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. July 15th to July 19th. . Location is south of Green Cove Springs.
Northbound lane closure. Daytime from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. July 15th through July 19th. Locations between Industrial Park Road and Green Cove Avenue.
US 17 Resurfacing
Work is expected to begin July 15 on a roadway resurfacing project along U.S. 17 (State Road 15) from Black Creek Trail to Water Oak Lane in Fleming Island. Most project work will occur during daytime hours Monday through Friday. No lane closures will be permitted between 5:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. Monday through Friday, and no lane closures will be permitted within 600 feet of the signal at Fleming Plantation Boulevard between 5:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. seven days a week. This project is expected to be completed in 6 months.
