How You Can Keep Clay Beautiful

You can adopt a road to make a difference!

Post Date:04/11/2025 3:15 PM

CLAY COUNTY, Fla. -- Clay County is supporting the vision of Keep America Beautifulby reminding neighbors to keep our roadways clean, and they can also make it a group effort! Anyone can make a difference by adopting a road with friends, coworkers, or neighbors to keep it beautiful for the community to enjoy.

A simple, mindful action can go a long way, which is why we're asking residents to think before they toss any unwanted waste. It can pile up quicker than you think. In March, 89 volunteers picked up 615 pounds of trash from 15.75 miles of roads and 20 acres of land!

We thank our volunteers for their work, and we welcome others to join our Keep Clay Beautiful program! Anyone can adopt a road to focus their clean-up efforts, and it's also a great way to earn volunteer hours. Our volunteers logged 229 hours in March alone!
