Clay County Animal Services employees celebrate achievements, statewide awards

Clay County Commissioners celebrated CCAS employees who were recognized at the Florida Animal Protection and Advocacy Association (FAPAA)’s annual conference.

During Tuesday night's Clay County Board of County Commissioners Meeting, commissioners celebrated some of our outstanding animal services employees who were recently recognized at the Florida Animal Protection and Advocacy Association (FAPAA)’s annual conference.

Animal Care Attendant II Tarkey Montgomery was recognized as the FAPAA employee of the year

 
RIGHT: Animal Care Attendant II Tarkey Montgomery was recognized as the FAPAA employee of the year for his exceptional dedication, tireless work ethic, and deep commitment to animal welfare. 
Animal Care Attendant I Peyton Boyett, Kennel Attendant Grace Allard, and Animal Services Volunteer Pam Jordan were also recognized for being in the top three for the Rising Star Award, Triumphant Tail Award, and Volunteer of the Year Award.
We are so proud of these hardworking and dedicated team members who have gone above and beyond to advance animal welfare in Clay County.
