CLAY COUNTY, Fla. --  The Clay County Board of County Commissioners invites the community to submit nominations for the Volunteer of the Year award, and the deadline for nominations is Friday, March 14, 2025. The award will recognize an outstanding individual who has significantly contributed to the community through volunteer work.

 
Eligibility criteria:

◘ The nominee must be registered on the Community & Social Services volunteer portal with Clay County, Florida.

◘ The nominee must have completed a minimum of fifty volunteer service hours within the Clay County area.

◘ Nominations may only be made for an active or present volunteer who has completed volunteer service hours from January 1 – December 31 of the previous year.

◘ The nominee's volunteer work must have contributed to the advancement of the community.

◘ The nominee must participate in activities that help promote community efforts for the residents of Clay County.
