Phase 2 will start in early 2025

Post Date:11/21/2024 9:41 AM

Crews will begin Phase 1 of the lane-widening and reconstruction project on County Road 220 the week of December 16th. Drivers can expect detours that will continue for the duration of the project. All businesses and residents will have full access to their properties. The county worked closely with emergency responders and the school district throughout the planning process.

Detours for CR-220 Phase 1 & 2 Map

In Phase 1, County Road 220 will be widened to four lanes from Hollars Place to west of Henley Road, ending at Chief Ridaught Trail. This project includes intersection improvements at County Road 220 and Henley Road. The work is expected to take 15 months. Drivers will need to exercise caution as there will be daily lane closures for construction phasing.

Phase 2 is expected to start in early 2025, and we will be sure to update our community ahead of that project's start date. You can learn more about this project in the link below.
