GREEN COVE SPRINGS, Fla. - You can bring the whole family to the Clay County Fairgrounds on Saturday, September 28th for the “Touch a Truck: What Moves Clay…” event.

This free event, presented by Baptist Medical Center Clay, will bring together everyone and everything that moves Clay - from county departments and services, to nonprofits, public safety, county agencies, and more. We'll have dozens of service vehicles for kids to see up close, food trucks, indoor and outdoor activities for kids, and free giveaways, alongside booths from county departments, organizations, and other entities to let Clay County residents what's available to them - right at home.

Visitors can view the vehicles during quiet time from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and they can see them in action during the lights and sounds portion, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

This event will feature service vehicles such as fire trucks and police cars as well as construction vehicles and heavy machinery. This is the perfect event for families to “touch” and experience emergency vehicles, and to learn all about the different groups and programs that make our county great.
