CLAY COUNTY, Fla. -- You can check out a tablet at your local Clay County Library to read a selection of digital newspapers and magazines!

This new service will be available starting Monday, August 19.
Visitors can use the tablets to read:
• Newsbank Newspapers
• The New York Times
• The Wall Street Journal
• Libby Magazines
Visitors must be 18 years or older to check out a tablet and can only check one out at a time with a state-issued ID or driver's license. The loan period is two hours, with an optional two-hour extension.

A total of 14 tablets were purchased through a NEFLIN (Northeast Florida Library Information Network) Innovation Grant. Clay County Library branches will have iPads available starting Monday, and they plan to add Android tablets soon after. Visitors will be able to choose between the two once they're both available.
