The dedicated employees and volunteers at Clay County Animal Services (CCAS) accomplished this feat by exceeding a 90% save rate for cats and dogs at the shelter.

This recognition highlights the tireless efforts of shelter staff, passionate volunteers and supporters, and the extraordinary leadership within our organization all working together to advance the animal welfare movement, and to ensure every animal has a chance of finding a loving, forever home.

The Board of County Commissioners took a moment to spotlight CCAS staff and this award during last night's BOCC meeting:
