Tropical Storm Debby update, August 4, 5:00 PM

As we head into the evening, Tropical Storm Debby is still tracking to hit the Florida Peninsula as a strong Category 1 hurricane, and here in Clay County, we’ll start to see the effects around 2:00 in the morning, continuing throughout the day Monday.

Starting at 7:00 tonight, we’re staffed in the Emergency Operations Center 24/7, as well as our call center.

Remember, treat all downed power lines as if they’re live.

Don’t drive through flood waters - they could be deeper than they look. You can tell us about downed trees, downed lines, damage, or any other storm-related issue by calling our call center 24/7.

That number is 1-877-252-9362.

As always, stay safe!
