Clay County Engineer/Paramedic added to the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial

GREEN COVE SPRINGS, FL -- A name that resonates here in Clay County was added to the the National Fallen

Firefighters Memorial this weekend. Clay County Fire Rescue engineer/paramedic Jeremy J. McKay, who died in 2019 from cancer, was one of 226 individuals honored

Our members were there to honor and remember his legacy. McKay served in the U.S. Marine Corps, and then continued his service to his community with our agency until he passed away.

He will always be remembered by our members and our community, and the addition of his name to the memorial will extend his legacy to everyone who visitsNational Fallen Firefighters MemorialGroup of firefighters standing in a row in a field from across our country.
