Free workshop for current, prospective vacation rental owners

Green Cove Springs, Fla. - The Clay County Tourism Department is hosting Vacation Rental Ventures, a free workshop for current and prospective vacation rental owners. It is happening on Thursday, November 2, from 5-7 p.m. at the Thrasher-Horne Center.

This will be an educational opportunity for current vacation rental owners to learn how to navigate current regulations, along with general best practices. This workshop will also prepare prospective vacation rental owners by providing them details on exactly what they need to know to set everything up properly.
Presenters are representatives from local Clay County agencies, in addition to the Florida Alliance of Vacation Rentals (FAVR), the largest vacation rental alliance In the USA and serving Florida for more than 29 years.
Florida vacation rentals make up 26% of the US market. Clay County’s inventory of vacation rentals is quickly growing. On any given day, there are at least 200 Clay County listings on major vacation rental platforms. The topic of vacation rental regulation will also continue to be a topic of discussion in Tallahassee with the state legislature.
