The Library is preparing for summer with tons of reading, activities, and programs. This year’s theme is ALL TOGETHER NOW: Kindness, Friendship and Unity.
Starting June 1, people of all ages (children, teens, and adults) can pick up reading logs and registration bags at any Clay County Library Branch. Registration bags are available while supplies last. Every log submitted enters patrons into a prize drawing. Prizes include puzzles, gift cards, and games. All reading logs must be turned in by 5 p.m. on July 29 to be entered into the prize drawings.
The Summer Reading 2023 programs and events will run at all library branches from June 5 - July 29. There are Summer Reading Programs for children, teens, and adults at all Clay County Library branches.
The Library will also host free lunch programs at Middleburg-Clay Hill Library on Monday and Wednesday and at the Orange Park Library on Tuesday and Thursday. No lunches will be served 6/19, 7/3, or 7/4 in observance of federal holidays.
Paper calendars of program schedules and prize descriptions for all ages will be available by May 19 at all library branches.
Digital copies of program schedules and prize descriptions for all ages are available now on the library website at claycountygov.com/community/library or library.claycountygov.com.
