Aspiring future Major League Baseball stars can come out to Paul C. Armstrong Park in Middleburg to participate in MLB’s Pitch, Hit, & Run event on May 20th. 

Clay County Parks and Recreation is partnering with MLB to host the one-day skills challenge for kids ages 7-14 - and it’s free! 

The event runs from 10-2 on Saturday. Participants will get an opportunity to showcase their baseball and softball skills. There are three parts to the competition that measures speed, throwing accuracy, and hitting. 

You can register online or just drop in on the day of the event. Participants can show up at any point during the event and don’t have to be there for the entire four-hour window.
