  • Who is responsible for cleaning after an event?

All user groups are responsible for their own pre-event set-up and breakdown. In many instances, an extra “free” day is allowed the day before and after an event.

  • Are alcoholic beverages allowed?

The sale of alcoholic beverages at any time by any person other than those that have obtained an Alcoholic Beverage Permit is strictly prohibited.

Please refer to the Rules and Regulations regarding the sale/consumption of alcoholic beverages at the Clay County Fairgrounds.

  • Do I have to pay in full before my event?

There is a demand for some of the facilities, so bookings are handled on a "First Pay, First Serve" basis.

A 50% deposit is required to “book a reservation” and payment must be made in full at least 14 days prior to the event.

  • Whom do I contact to book an event?

Parks and Recreation Office: 904-284-6378, option #2.
