Bow Wow Breakout

Join our Bow Wow Breakout club! Spend the day with one of the happy and fun dogs housed at our shelter. This program is perfect for someone that cannot adopt at the moment but would like to enrich the life of a shelter dog. Sign the dog out of the shelter for the day and go have fun! Both the dog and you will benefit.  See FLYER for further information.

Free Agent Foster Program: It’s easy to help a deserving animal find a home. Check out our new “Free Agent” Foster program.
Foster families willing to take an animal into their home can pick out an animal that is ready and waiting for adoption. The foster family then works on finding their foster animal a home by attending adoption events, networking, creative marketing, etc. This is a great opportunity to make a big difference for the awesome animals looking for a permanent home. Please click on our FLYER for more details.

Spay 32068 Program
The program is offered to all Clay County residents who live in the zip code 32068 and verification will be required. Other low cost programs are available for all others.

For more information or to make an appointment call First Cast No More Homeless Pets at 904-425-0005 and mention the
Spay 32068 program. Their website is www.fcnmhp.org

CCACC Volunteer Opportunities
No one likes to think about disasters occurring but sometimes during severe flooding or other natural disasters the county opens emergency shelters for the safety of the public.  CCACC is looking for volunteers who are familiar with animals and their handling to help staff at one of pet-friendly shelters should one be opened during an emergency.  Please contact Gail Flakes at (904) 269-6342 to sign up.

Be a homeless pet volunteer!  Help a deserving dog or cat find a new home by volunteering at the Penney Farms Adoption Facility or the Fleming Island Adoption Facility.  We need people to socialize with the dogs and/or cats and help potential adopters find the pet that’s right for their home.

We have two meet and greet areas and two play yard areas for the dogs.  We also have a free roam cat room for adoptable cats where one can interact with the cats to their hearts content.  Just one person can make a difference for a deserving dog or cat!

Dog Bite Awareness
