Chereese Stewart
Commissioner Chereese Parrish Stewart's roots are deep in Clay County, inspired by family ties to the area going back several generations. She and her husband, Damian, are raising their two children in the Clay Hill area of her youth. She has long-term memberships with the Clay County Cattlemen’s Association, Florida Association of Agricultural Educators, and the National Association of Agricultural Educators.
Stewart assures the voters of her district that, “As the District IV County Commissioner, I will continue to do my part in making Clay County an even better place to live. As a second term County Commissioner it continues to be important in letting the voice of the people be heard and to continue to help the citizens at the local level.”

- Graduated from Middleburg High School in 1989
- Associate of Arts degree at St. Johns River Community College
- Bachelor of Science in 1994 specializing in Agricultural Science at Texas A&M
- Teaching certificates from Texas and Florida
- Master’s Degree from University of North Florida in Educational/Administrative Leadership.
