Mosquito Control

"The mission of the Mosquito Control Division is to serve the public in the reduction of pestiferous insects and improve the health and quality of life and outside activities for the citizens of Clay County."

The key objectives of the division are the continued reduction of adult reproductive insects by Adulticiding (fogging), and continued treatment of standing water to combat larval growth.

The Mosquito Control Division has a program to record, log, and track the various maintenance operations carried out on the County's roadway and storm water control systems. We encourage the help of all our citizens in reporting on pestiferous insects.
