Department to ensure quality recruitment, training, and development of employees
- and to promote the County's benefit programs to enhance quality
retention-strive to allow for job security, challenges, upward mobility and job
satisfaction and integrate all departments into one family with a common goal -
"SERVICE TO THE PUBLIC".
The Clay County's Human Resources Program
consists of Risk Management, Parks and Recreation, and Labor Relations. The department
promotes and protects Equal Opportunity Employment and everyday
compliance.
Functional
Responsibilities:
Process all new employees and provides an orientation to inform them of
the County benefits.
Processes and tracks all County Worker Compensation claims.
Processes all Florida Retirement applications/inquires.
Ensures a safe working environment. Clay County maintains a drug-free
workplace with random drug testing.
Is responsible for monitoring and administering all disciplinary action
pertaining to County employees:
