In addition to residential curbside collection services, residents within the unincorporated area of the County may dispose of recyclable materials at the Rosemary Hill SWMF or any of the County’s 5 Environmental Convenience Centers (ECCs). The following items are also to be placed inside your bin for curbside pick-up:

  • Plastic beverage, detergent bottles, jugs, and colored plastic bottles with screw-on tops and labeled with 1 (PETE) or 2 (HDPE). Throw away lids, neck rings and rinse containers. No antifreeze, oil, or pesticide containers, please!
  • Glass (brown, clear, and green) bottles and jars.
  • Metal and aluminum cans.
  • Paperboard, Corrugated cardboard (flattened and no larger than 2’ x 3’), newspaper, magazines, junk mail and catalogs.
  • Brown paper bags should be placed inside the recycling bin or be filled with additional recyclables.
  • ABSOLUTELY NO PLASTIC BAGS
