Commissioner: District 4
Chereese Stewart
Commissioner
Chereese Parrish Stewart's roots are deep in Clay County, inspired by family
ties to the area going back several generations. She and her husband, Damian,
are raising their two children in the Clay Hill area of her youth. She maintains
her life-long membership in the Longbranch Baptist Church and her long-term
memberships in the Clay County Cattlemen’s Association, Florida Association of
Agricultural Educators, and the National Association of Agricultural Educators.
Stewart assures the voters of her
district that, “As the District IV County
Commissioner, I will do my part to make Clay County a better place for us all to
live. I believe I will be a great County Commissioner because I am in touch with
the members of the community. I know what the concerns of our people are. I am
open to suggestions and will help each person that I can. I believe we need to
make strides in enhancing our district’s appeal and in doing so, making our
county better. I have great leadership skills, cooperative learning strategies,
budgeting and finance knowledge, and data collection abilities. I am in touch
with the pulse of the folks in our district.”
