County Commissioner: District 3
Travis Cummings, Chairman
Travis Cummings was elected to serve as the District 3 Clay County Commissioner
on November 4, 2008 for a four year term.
Born in Jacksonville, Travis has lived in Orange Park (District 3) for more than
30 years. His wife, Jessica, is also a Clay County native. The couple each
graduated from Orange Park High School. Travis is fortunate to have four
generations of family that live throughout Clay County.
He graduated from Valdosta State University with a degree in Accounting and
worked for a Jacksonville CPA firm after returning to Orange Park after college.
He then worked for several years as a Corporate Controller for the NE Florida
headquarters of the YMCA of Florida’s First Coast. During his time at the YMCA,
Travis obtained his Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the
University of North Florida.
Currently, Travis is a financial services consultant, working with individuals
and small businesses. He has invested much time throughout his professional
career to community involvement, assuming leadership roles with both civic and
charitable organizations.
Jessica and Travis are members of Orange Park United Methodist Church. They
enjoy traveling, tennis, attending sporting events and spending time with family
& friends.
