County Commissioners: FAQ
Where and when does the Board of County Commissioners meet?
Unless otherwise noticed, the Board of
County Commissioners meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 2:00
p.m. in the Board's Meeting Room on the fourth floor of the Administration
Building, 477 Houston Street, Green Cove Springs, Florida. Meetings are
televised live and then rebroadcast beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Channel 29 and
then again on Thursday at 6:00 pm.
A copy of the agenda for the Board meetings is available at the reception
desk on the fourth floor of the Administration Building for public review on the
Friday prior to the meeting. In addition, the current agenda will
be available on the internet at our site:
www.claycountygov.com
on Friday prior to the
meeting.
The minutes will be available on the internet at:
www.claycountygov.com
after they are officially
approved by the Board of County Commissioners at its regular meetings, or you
can contact the Board's Recording Secretary at (904) 269-6388 and for a charge
of 15 cents per page a copy will be made for you after they are officially
approved.
A DVD or audio CD of BCC Meetings can be obtained by
contacting Ann Mitchell the
Records Management Liaison Officer for Clay County at #284-6352 or by email.
Prices are as follows:
.15 each for single sided no larger than 8
1/2" x 14" copies
.20 each for double sided no larger than8 1/2" x 14" copies
$1.00 for a certified copy of a public record
$1.00 for audio CD's
$2.00 for DVD's
Cost of postage and packaging if necessary
The Board accepts public comment on any issue on its agenda. You must
fill out a speaker card available on the table as you enter the Board's Meeting
Room and give it to either the recording secretary or the administrative
assistant. The Chairman of the Board will call on you when the Board
is ready to receive public comments. A time certain may also be scheduled with
the approval of the Chairman. Call the Administrative Assistant at (904)
284/269-6347 to obtain approval for a time certain to address the Board.
