Charter Review Commission: 2005-2006

2005-2006 CRC Final Report

2005-2006 CRC Overview

2005-2006 CRC Ballot Proposal

2005-2006 CRC Executive Summary

Section 4.2:B(1) of the Clay County Home Rule Charter (the Charter) requires that the Board of County Commissioners (the Board) appoint a Charter Review Commission consisting of fifteen (15) electors of the County at least twelve months prior to the general election occurring in 1994 and in every fourth year thereafter. The next general election in the four-year cycle will occur in November 2010. Accordingly, at its meeting of October 13, 2009, the Board appointed the fifteen electors who will serve as members of the 2009/2010 Clay County Charter Review Commission (the CRC). The CRC will meet for the next several months to study the Home Rule Charter and bring forth any revisions they determine should be placed on the November 2010 general election ballot.
